Keeps food fresh for a long time
Mapware has really helped the longevity of my fruits and vegetables, which is terrific given I mostly buy organic produce and produce from my local farmer’s market. I’ll buy strawberries and they’ll start to spoil within 3-4 days normally but with Mapware, my berries lasted two weeks. I can’t tell you how much food I’ve had to throw away these past few years especially with sometimes over-shopping due to fears of another wave of Covid cases and just poor meal planning in general, so by the time I’m ready to cook up all the veggies I bought, they’re limp and losing color or worse – slimy, and need to be tossed. But no more!
These Mapware storage bags and glass containers are high-quality, super sturdy, easy to clean, and with the quick spray of the natural preserve 100, your food will stay fresh for 10 days to two weeks longer. A money saver! 10 out of 10 – would buy again.

This stuff is AMAZING
When I first heard of Mapware, honestly, I was very skeptical, but then I got it and used it for a few days and am really impressed.
Bacon – Usually it turns color within a couple of days once opened and looks gross. I’m always hesitant to eat it as it almost looks green. This time I opened a pk of Bacon, took out a couple of slices and thought I’d give the Mapware Freezerbag a try. I just put the opened pk of Bacon in, closed it and gave it a zap and it was perfect. No changing colors / smelling bad. I kept taking out a couple of slices every few days, sealing it and then giving a zap with the can, and for the first time, Bacon lasted over 2 wks and didn’t go bad / thrown. I’m sold
I also used a big freezer size bag to store strawberries. Usually, it grows mold within 3 days or so (especially if it is organic), but this time, I didn’t throw it away, but actually ate it over 5 days.
I just cut up some mango and put in the large container, gave it a zap, closed it and put away in the fridge. The mango didn’t go rancid even after 3 days.
I’m impressed and I definitely recommend trying this. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, and I never write reviews, but this one has me sold.

A Food Storage Freak
I’m very much into food storage, prepping, and not wasting anything, especially food. Now that my husband and I are empty nesters we find we constantly end up with leftovers. I buy fresh berries for daily smoothies, but the berries, or at least a decent amount of them start going bad after a few days. I end up throwing out berries.
When I first got the MAPWare, I thought that a nice red apple would be the perfect test. I sliced one up, left a slice on my counter top out in the air, and placed the other slices in the MAPWare. I took a picture of the apple slice I left out on my countertop after a few hours to show how quickly it started to brown (you know how apples do). Then, after 10 days in the MAPWare in the fridge, I took a picture of those slices. They had barely started to turn from their apple flesh color to have the slightest tinge. I ate them and each were just as crisp as if they had been freshly sliced. I was amazed! And my berries? They are staying fresh too. Haven’t had to throw any out yet. (I would include the pictures I took but they honestly don’t do justice to how fresh the apple still was after 10 days.)
I was worried that the MAPWare would be complicated to use, but it’s super easy. No big deal at all. A win-win all the way around.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR FAMILIES
I am not one to write reviews, but this food storage system is a must have for everyone, especially families who cook often at home.I LOVEEEEE everything about this food storage system! Not only is it economical and a money-saver, but the materials are top grade (glass storage containers and bpa/chemical free reusable storage bags) which is a must for me and my family. Using this food storage system has cut down the time I spend running to the store to replace fresh foods that spoiled before I could use them, by extending the longevity of my foods exponentially, especially when it comes to the fresh fruits, veggies and herbs that I use often. Step your game up and get into it folks! I promise you won’t regret it, neither will your pockets!

Effective and prevents food waste
I buy most of our food and organic produce from big box stores and hate that we have to throw some out because we can’t eat it all before it goes stale, soggy, slimy or moldy. This system seems to be helping to reduce food waste. It takes a bit of getting used to – spraying the nitrogen into the small hole in the containers – because you can’t hear or feel any difference. (In fact, the aerosol can is so light you take it on faith there’s any gas in there.) But it’s super easy to use. You just have to respray every time you close the bag/glassware after taking something out to eat/cook. So far, I prefer using the bags than the glass containers, which don’t feel as tight a seal, to me. I put strawberries in the glass but they still lost their freshness within a few days, while the bags kept the mini cucumbers and carrots crunchy for much longer than before. Cheeses and breads are also definitely holding their freshness for longer. I also love the bag clips that come with the system to clamp package openings – use them on items in the fridge and pantry. Will definitely continue to use.

My new favorite food storage system
I don’t usually write reviews but I am so impressed with this Mapware Storage Set! I realized I toss a lot of baked goods as I like a variety and most go bad before I can finish a loaf of bread or a bag of buns. The Snap and Zap Caps and Grips are amazing and have kept my breads fresh like new. The glass containers have extended the life of soft cheeses, and the Map-Tech Jar lids have kept my berries perfect for up to 2 weeks so far. You get so many versatile pieces in this set and they are all so easy to use with just a quick zap of the nitrogen. No more tying to squish air out of bags, or mismatched containers that don’t keep food fresh. This system has everything you need and I love it!

My food is lasting so much longer
This product is amazing! I was skeptical at first, but I have saved so much money since my food is staying fresh so much longer. Typically if I opened a bag of lettuce it would start to turn brown and slimy after a few days. Now it lasts a couple of weeks! I love being able to take the oxygen out of the containers and packages to help re-create how the food was preserved originally. The kit has so many different options with being able to store food and it’s so simple to use. This product literally pays for itself with all of the food that is being saved from not being thrown away too soon. I definitely recommend getting this product.

It saved my food for weeks longer
I hate wasting food! So when I saw this I got excited. Its pretty easy to use with the nitrogen spray, make sure you keep the vent open to let the old air out when you spray the nitrogen. I didn’t realize this at first. I like that it comes with so many options for food saving, like the mason jar lids, the glass, the plastic baggies, and even little things to put on your bread plastic cover. I hate wasting food, so this is really nice to be able to refrigerate things longer and not have to freeze things, because I hate defrosting things! I’m glad I bought it!

Finally able to buy in bulk!
For a household of 2 we were never successful buying bulk foods from Costco/Sams Club because we couldn’t eat them quick enough. Now with how high grocery prices are, we were looking for a solution to help us save money as well as not have so much waste. We are more than thrilled with the Mapware food storage system. We use it mainly for produce like peppers, spinach, blackberries, green beans, etc. It’s been life changing for vegetables. We also love using the Snap N Grip Clip and Snap N Zap Cap for bread products. The Zip N Zap bags have been perfect for tortillas and removes that feeling of urgency to eat them as soon as you can so they don’t mold, especially in a humid environment like Georgia. The kit comes with SO many options that we have yet to use them all. I can’t wait to try the Map Tech lids for jars! All in all this kit is DEFINITELY worth the money.

Live by the beach? Save the bread and chips!
I received the package and it came with everything included in the picture. What I liked best about the system is the clips and inserts for chips and bread. Living by the beach everything gets stale or moldy very quickly. This system definitely helps in keeping bread fresher and chips crispier for a longer period of time. They still won’t stay fresh forever, but this does help me save on food.. The bags work well, but take up a little more space because the air injected in to them. I noticed lettuce still goes bad, but stays fresher a little longer. The dishes with the tops are great for leftovers and meats and poultry. All in all I like the system. It does take up storage space so make some room. If you are single, it does take the extra effort to inject the canister with air every time you open the container, but it does save on food cost.
